Teaching with Technology
Teaching using technology offers numerous benefits that can enhance the learning experience for students. During these last years, I used several platforms, in particular Zoom, Microsoft teams and Ding Talk, a Chinese communication platform. At Penn State University, I learned to use the platform Canva.

I created most of my presentation using Power Point and the open-source program Libre Office. I really enjoy creating effective lectures presentations because they are fundamental when teaching online. To create effective lectures presentations, I use high legible fonts, such as Arial or Calibri, light background and contrastive letters color. When the presentation is for children, I also add colorful and meaningful images that help young students to stay more focused and engaged. You can find some examples on the courses page.
After Covid-19 Pandemic, technology was an instrument for students to connect with peers. In addition, I discovered that technology could make learning more interactive and engaging. While teaching to children, instead of doing regular exercise, I used various online sources such as wordwall.net where it is possible to create many personalized educational games and share them within the community. I think that these activities capture students' attention, especially young children, and make the learning process more enjoyable, motivating them to participate actively.
